Your text and designs remain on your device throughout the entire editing process. When you save a design, it is stored locally in your device's photo gallery or files.

3. Font Usage

All fonts included in LetterSmith are embedded within the application. No font data is transmitted externally. The fonts are licensed for personal use within the application. You may create designs for personal projects using these fonts.

4. Data Storage

The application stores the following data locally on your device:

  • Custom templates you create
  • Project files (.lettersmith)
  • App settings and preferences
  • Temporary cache data for performance
  • Images you import as backgrounds or elements

All data is stored in your device's local storage. You can delete this data at any time by:

  • Using the "Clear Cache" function in Settings
  • Deleting templates from your template library
  • Deleting project files from your device
  • Uninstalling the application

5. Permissions Required

The application requires the following permissions:

  • Storage / Photo Gallery Access - Required to import images for backgrounds and to save your designs to your device. Data flow is local only, no upload.
  • Camera Access (Optional) - Only needed if you choose to take photos directly within the app for background images. You can deny this permission and still use all other features.

Permissions NOT requested: Microphone, Contacts, Location, Phone/SMS

Network Access: NOT required - the application works completely offline. No internet connection is ever needed.

6. Templates and Presets

Custom templates you create are stored locally on your device. We do not access, collect, or share your custom templates. Built-in templates are included with the application and do not require any data transmission.

7. Third-Party Services

This application does NOT use:

  • Any analytics SDKs or tracking tools
  • Any advertising SDKs
  • Any third-party data collection tools
  • Any cloud processing services
  • Any AI or machine learning services that require data transmission

8. Children's Privacy

Our application does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13 years of age. All features are safe for users of all ages as no data collection occurs. LetterSmith is designed for general audience use.

7. Templates Usage

Built-in templates are provided for your convenience. You may modify and use them for personal projects. You may save your modified versions as custom templates. You may not redistribute built-in templates as your own.

8. Export Limitations

The application allows you to export designs as PNG or JPEG images. Exported images may be shared for personal use. For commercial use of exported images, ensure you have appropriate rights to all elements including fonts and imported images.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We do not warrant that:

  • The application will function uninterrupted or error-free
  • Any defects will be corrected
  • The application is free of viruses or harmful components
  • The application will meet your specific requirements
  • Font rendering will be identical across all devices

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LETTERSMITH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY:
